Ghost Town  St. Elmo, Colorado, USA (21.5 X 14.25)


St. Elmo is at an elevation of 9,961 feet (3,036 meters) and is one of Colorado's best preserved ghost towns.  It is coming back to life because of the fishing and the old mining roads are used for four wheeling.

San Francisco de Asis Church, Rancho de Taos, New Mexico, USA

This early Spanish church was under construction between 1772 and 1816.  It is located 4 miles southwest of Taos, New Mexico.  It was the subject of numerous paintings of Georgia O'Keefe and photographs of Ansel Adams.

Antelope Slote Canyon, Page, Arizona USA

The canyon is on Navajo land just east of Page, Arizona.  In my opinion, one of the most beautiful places on earth. During the summer months, and with a good guide, you might be able to capture an image with a sun ray beaming through.

Dead Vlei means dead lake. It is surrounded by the highest sand dunes in the world with one around 1,200 feet (400 meters).  The dead trees are over 900 years old and do not decompose because it is so dry.

Mittens, Monument Valley Utah, USA (17 X 22)


Monument Valley is located on Navajo land in Utah near the Arizona border.  Many famous Western movies were filmed there, including several John Wayne films.  Because of these films, the area defines the American Southwest to the world.

Antelope Slot Canyon Image 2 - Page, Arizona, USA


The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánílíní, which means "the place where water runs through rocks."  The canyon looks different every time you visit because of the sunlight and where the sun is in the sky.
